On the weekend we had the Kids up once again and we were determined to make up for the lousy New Year's outing where Kim and I came down with the flu and we sent them home early.
When we picked the kids up Ophelia was quite excited about reptiles due to some event at school and Kim and I weighed whether or not to go to Little Ray's Reptile Zoo. We were there with the kids in 2003 and had a good time, so figured we would do it again.
Well we had a blast. We were there for over three hours at a cost of $9 each, and we saw tons of animals, there was an awesome hands on demonstration with a tarantula, 8 foot python, baby alligator, and later on a full grown female american alligator. An hour later there was a feeding demonstration with breaded dragons and a king snake (not at the same time of course!).
If you are ever south of Ottawa, I highly recommend a stop at this little zoo.

We are starting to paint the nursery this week so I'll be a little more rushed than usual. Expect sporadic posting.

I'm surprised you didn't mention that you got to hold a tarantula...ugh, definitely not for me, but you and Holden liked it!
