As Colby Cosh points out, the odds of someone taking out a plane with a pop bottle of explosive is extremely low. The effort and risk required to get the explosive to the point where it would truly be dangerous to the integrity of the plane is enormous.
I hope governments think critically about the threat and act appropriately once the knee jerk reaction panic is subsided.
