Bill and I have had a friendly disagreement since, well, forever! It's about sheets...yes, sheets...you know, the ones you put on your bed.
It goes like this...
I make the bed and put the top sheet on, right-side-up, with the tag on the other side. Bill tells me that this is wrong, and that the top sheet should be upside-down/inside out...you know what I mean. We often tease each other when we're away from home and we see someone else made their bed the way we do...then we're all like, "see, my way is the right way!"
I tell him that the only way that is right is if you fold down the top sheet over a blanket or something to make a 'cuff' sort of thing. My mother does that sometimes, and it looks nice...we have never done that ourselves, so on our bed it would just look wrong if the sheet was upside-down.
I also tell Bill that I worked in a hotel for a short time and we never put the top sheet upside-down...so I don't think that's the right way to do it. He got my friend Erin to agree with him on this...but I don't think it really matters too much. When he starts making the bed by himself then he can put the sheets on however he wants. ;)

the pretty sides of the sheet face each other! What would be the point of sleeping on the back side of a flannel sheet?? I thought everyone knew this. Listen to me...I'm always right. :)
We don't use flannel sheets :p
...besides, all our sheets are single-colored boring things, so there is no 'prettier' side.
