Oscars?

I barely was even aware the Oscars were on last night. Award shows have jumped the shark a long time ago in my book when the television networks started talking about Award Show Seasons and how some are warm up for the Oscars.

The weekend was pretty quiet. Kim's mom came up and together they worked on getting a border up in the nursery. Along with the delivered glider chair, its pretty much good-to-go. I worked some overtime to make up for appointments, and then Sunday was a quiet day at home with some housework and grocery shopping.

Next weekend is the first baby shower for my side of the family. I'm not invited so my father is going to take me to the Sens game.
