Its amazing how much and how quickly the body's physical fitness degrades. I was off from Jiu Jitsu for about three weeks due to my surgery and Christmas holidays. This past Monday was my first class back and I was exhausted by the end of it and sore the next day even though it was not an overly strenuous class.
Then today I had my second class back and I was practically shaking from exhaustion at the end of it. Sad really. Next year I'll have to work harder over the break at getting some exercise.
Regardless, its good to be back fighting the weight monster with a fresh exciting year ahead.
