Uninvited Houseguest

Lying in bed, Kim turns to me and asks, "Can you hear that?"

Yep I can. Something is rustling, scratching, and moving around in our attic. And in the dead of night it sounds big, like a 200 lb hitman. Its hard to fall asleep with that racket in the roof.

We've never had to deal with this issue before and its not something that happened a lot growing up in Greenbush. Once we had a muskrat find his way in but Terry put a stick in the hole the rodent was using and a couple traps in the basement. I'm not sure I'm looking forward to dealing with a potentially psychotic Squeakers the squirrel in the tight confines of our attic or hall cupboard.
