I went into Click thinking it would be a nice date movie for Kim and I with the usual Adam Sandler humour and a uplifting message about not letting life pass you by. While the Sandler humour was present, it did not overtake the movie and the message was surprisingly powerful. The pain he feels at realizing his life and loved ones are slipping through his fingers due to his desire to succeed in his career is real and believable and delivered without holding back any punches (for a comedy that is).
I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected and reccommend it to anyone looking for a good yarn to watch with the significant other. And remember, no one ever lies on their deathbed and thinks to themselves, "I should have spent more time at work."
4/5 Stars
