Recently at work our lunchtime chess games have been usurped by the game of Go, a strategy game first popularized centuries (millennia?) ago in Asia. After a few days of trying out this game I have to say I'm quite taken with it to the point that I'm going to pick a set up (i.e. board and stones)for myself next time I'm at the mall.
The basic rules are easier than chess, but since the board is so much larger the strategy and thinking tend to be more involved. Of course, as in chess games I like to play fast so I make more mistakes but have lots of fun anyway.
Hmm, what are the chances I can convince Kim to play?

Hummmmmmmmmmmmm....
Since you're already planning on buying the game, I'm sure you could convince me to give it a try ;)
Jennie and I have a copy, but have never found a worthwhile set of rules... soooo, we haven't learned it yet.
