speaking of "brownie points"...

I guess Bill earned double "brownie points" yesterday. Not only did he take me to the 'girly' concert, but he made my day when he came home carrying a treasure for me. Not flowers. Not chocolate or candy. Something better...waaaaay better. It was the new Madonna CD I've been waiting months for!!! I'd asked him a couple days earlier if he would pick it up for me on his way home from work, since I couldn't get out to get it with the kids here. I didn't even need to remind him...and that's amazing in itself, given his often poor memory! It was playing mere seconds after the kids went home...I blasted it, trying to listen to every word...feeling every beat...in awe. I truly do have the most wonderful husband. That gift made my day...I'll definitely give him "brownie points" for that! :)
