Hurry Up and Wait

A common theme in the working world nowadays is the concept of "hurry up and wait". You recieve tons of pressure to complete your tasks as quickly as possible only to find out they or someone else is not ready for your efforts and you are forced to sit and wait. One minute its "hurry up" and the next its "wait a minute."

Guess what I'm doing today? That's right, I'm waiting. I hurried yesterday and today I wait. Ho hum, what fun. To top it off I didn't sleep well so i feel half in the bag, rain looks to be ready to cancel my tennis game with Andrew, and I'm hungry. I'm very hungry. And I have to walk through the rain to get lunch in an hour.

This is all someone's fault. I blame Andrew.

On the upside, the long weekend starts for me in five hours! Ah, rest and relaxation and two Thanks Giving dinners.... Expect me to waddle back to blogging on Tuesday.
