Busy Weekend

Kim and I have wanted a gazebo in the back yard for a while. You know, one of those metal ones with the canvas roof. But they are expensive and we seemed to be always spending our money on something else.

Well, the inlaws didn't need theirs anymore so on Saturday I spent a couple hours and with some assistance from Kim and neighbour Steve I put it up for some seriously bitching shade in the backyard. It has mosquito nets too for evening cavorting.

I also fixed the toilet which is far less exciting to talk about and which no one should notice since it now works properly. That's why I led with the gazebo.

Gah, Where Does the Time GO?!

Its already well into June and I've not posted since the 25th. Sad. I always have lots of ideas for posting but seem to forget about them when I'm in front of a computer.

The boys are the best source of ideas as they are constantly changing, getting more independent and capable every day. Seems like Sean is trying a new word every day and walking a bit more while Lukas is exploring his voice and experiencing control over us as he cries when he is not near mommy. Phases, some good some bad.

Of course Lukas has popped to more teeth recently so that could contribute to his moods lately. I'm pretty sure he now has more teeth already through than teeth waiting to get through.

I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend with some friends visiting and maybe a trip to Valleyview farms.
